Worship

Covenant Creek started as a small group bible study. We met each week to share a meal together, to talk about God, and to share life with one another. We enjoyed those times, but families grew and we met other families who wanted a place to grow in God. A house couldn’t hold us. At the same time we realized we were always discussing that we really were not doing much for other people. We said we were on “mission” – we said we wanted to share Jesus with others – but we weren’t doing much to back that up.

The Dayton suburbs certainly did not need another guy preaching and some people singing songs on Sunday morning. What we needed – and what we believe God is growing – is a place where we could gather together for worship but that would also provide us a platform to actually be and do what God has commanded us to be and do. We wanted to love God and love our neighbors. That is worship. That is what we hope Covenant Creek is all about – a place that allows you to come in to see and know that God is real, but a place that never stops reminding you that the life of a Christian is love and service. To put it all in one sentence, our hope is that Covenant Creek would be a place where you can grow in worship.

So, whether you are someone still questioning the things of God or you are someone who loves God but just needs a place to live that out, we invite you to come and join us.
